The new permanent exhibition at the Landesmuseum Koblenz.
is the new permanent exhibition at the Landesmuseum Koblenz, exploring 200 years of life and work in Rhineland-Palatinate. Spanning 1,200 square metres, the exhibition tells the story of the region through the people who shaped it — their work, everyday lives and personal experiences. From rural life in the 19th century and industrialisation to modern research, tourism and global challenges, the exhibition connects individual biographies with major historical developments. Original objects, atmospheric installations and multimedia elements create an immersive journey through the region’s past and present. For the exhibition, I created several animated films that are integrated into the exhibition’s multimedia storytelling. The films tell the stories of women in the 19th century, focusing on their hard work, everyday lives and the challenges they faced. Through animation, historical events, personal stories and social contexts are transformed into accessible and visually engaging narratives, adding another layer to the exhibition experience.
