Editorials on extreme Heat periods and thien impact on our health.
Temperatures climbed above 41°C in parts of Germany at the end of June 2026. The consequences are alarming: according to the Robert Koch Institute, this summer’s record temperatures are estimated to have contributed to more than 16,300 deaths. The article **“Health Under Heat Stress”** highlights why heat protection is no longer simply a matter of individual behaviour — and why binding measures are urgently needed. For this publication, I created the **illustrations**, translating the health impacts of extreme heat and the importance of heat protection into clear and accessible visuals. 🌡️ Extreme heat is not just a weather issue. It is a matter of public health, preparedness and collective responsibility.
