Editorial illustration exploring food and consumption in a broader sense.
Can a transatlantic voyage be described without talking about food? From the pleasures enjoyed by first-class passengers to the enduring hunger of sailors, food becomes an essential part of life on board. The text explores how eating reflects social divisions between passengers and draws a fascinating connection to the elaborate menu served aboard the Titanic. I had the pleasure of creating the illustrations for this text, published in the Polish magazine Znak, exploring the broader themes of food and consumption.
